How do I love Kaplan?

Hello Everyone!

I have to say that I have never blogged before this class. So this is a great feat for me. I actually am really starting to like this part, when I really was not liking this in the beginning.

I love love love being able to be an online student. After being disabled for many years, I finally had a whistle blow, what am I going to do if my husband passes before me? We have no life insurance, no savings or much of anything else. I would not survive without him. Plus the fact that he has been doing it all on his own for many years. We have 3 kids and it has not ever been easy. I am really enjoying this part of my life now. We moved to Florida in September of "09". Just before our journey to the south, I was on the telephone with my Advisor, he asked me who would be the most proud of me for going back to school and my response was me! I am. I never thought after being out of school for over 32 years that I would have the opportunity to be back for my future again! Online schooling has opened up a whole new world for us all. I just can not believe that I am here and actually remembering things this late in my life. lol

Kaplan has made my life a meaning. I learn, I meet, have fun, coffee, chocolate and pj's all while I am in shcool. What could be better than that? I have to say it is nice to also get the awards every term from Kaplan with the encouragement to go on. So yes, I love being an online student. :)

Unit 2

Hey again,

Well, here I am again, still have not figured out how to put my picture up. For some reason the fairy picture shows under my name that was on my gmail page. Ever since I got this Mac, I have not been able to put them where I want them. Once day I will have a brain cramp and it will be there.

This week was kind of quiet for me. A week after surgery and it is all quieting down. Trying to keep up with it all, when all I really want to do is just veg until I heal. But I am hanging in there. I did my discussions, and now this blog. Next week I believe we will have a topic to go on so that will help. Hope everyone's week was great, see you in class.

Still having trouble

Well, not sure why, but I can not get a photo up for the likes of me. Crazy. I really honestly don't understand why we actually need this blog as we all communicate through our discussion board, but it is part of the requirement. I really do not care for writing, and this is just one more way to make me do it! Oh my, what have I got myself into now! lol

Unit !

Hi Everyone!

If you are reading this, then so far so good. I have never done this before and I am a bit confused on what is expected of me for this part of the unit. I just hope I am correct in posting this. I tried to put my picture up, but I just can't seem to retrieve it. I have a mac so it is different than what I am used to. Just got this thing in February. I know where it is, just don't know how to put it on this page. Other than that, I think I have figured out most of it. Any suggestions? I am always willing to learn something new. Let me know.
